From the desk of Rector cum I/C Principal

 

After the blessed visit of His Holiness the Dalai Lama to this School in April 2013, accompanied by the overwhelming and memorable march past by more than 600 alumni on the occasion of the golden Jubilee Celebration, this school was showered with a lot of accomplishments in all the fields. In the past three years, the school witnessed a lot of growth in the mindset of the students and the staff which led to a better team work and congenial atmosphere.

In the Academic field, the pass percentage was 100 % in classes from VI to XI in the year 2015 and 2016. Moreover, in 2015, class XII board result was Super bumper in the history of CST Dalhousie with 13 Distinctions, 19 First divisions and 4 Second divisions and over all percentage was 72 and pass percentage was 100. So, the school stood in the first position among all the CTSA Schools and third position among all the Tibetan Schools. In 2016, class XII board result was 84.43 and the school stood in third position among CTSA Schools with 2 Distinctions, 18 -First divisions, 12-Second divisions. In the Cultural field, the school stood First in overall Senior group and Second position in overall junior group in North Zone Cultural Meet held at Shimla in October 2015 and Second position in overall Senior group in Central Zone meet in November 2015.In the field of games and Sports, the school won 1 gold, 2 Silver, 3 bronze in CBSE Sport Cluster meet held at Chandigarh. Moreover, the activities of Eco Club, Scout & guides, NSS, health club, Hindi Club have been upto full inner satisfaction. So, Congrates to all the devoted and dedicated staff members.

The Zero mobile project and Zero garbage project of students’ council has been reaching its height to the greatest. Moreover, they have been organizing many sports and games activities effectively in the school. The innovative morning assembly activities introduced recently has been helping in drawing the best within them, removing stage fear, building team work and developing leadership qualities, besides improving their communicative skill in all the three languages- English, Tibetan and Hindi. Congrates to students’ council and lovely children.

Since the sky has no limit, our efforts for Excellence will continue till the earth comes to an end and this school will leave no stone unturned in the days to come to hit the target of academic equity and excellence.

Last but not the least, I would like to mention here that this school has been getting on time direction, guidance and financial supports from CTSA Headquarter and DOE, Dharamsala because of which the effective functioning of the school and overall development of the children have been accomplished for which I would like to thank them from the core of my heart.
